How is Your Information Collected and Processed?

This data is processed on the grounds of legitimate interests, which are for the purposes of communicating with you, for record keeping and to establish, pursue or defend legal claims.
Customer Data: This includes data relating to any purchases of goods and/or services such as your name, title, contact details, billing address, delivery address, email address, phone number and purchase details. This is processed on the grounds of performance of a contract; data to supply the services you have purchased and to keep records of transactions.
User Data: This includes information about how you use this website and any online services along with any data that you post for publication on the website or through other online services. This is processed on the grounds of legitimate interests; operating the website and ensuring relevant content is provided to you, to ensure the security of the website, to maintain back ups of the website and/or databases and to enable publication and administration of the website and business.
Technical Data: Including information about your use of the website and online services such as your IP address, your login data, details about your browser, length of visit to pages, page views and navigation paths, details about the number of times you use the website, time zone settings and other technology on the devices you use to access the website. The source of this data is from my analytics tracking system. This is processed on the grounds of legitimate interests to analyse your use of the website and other online services, to administer and protect my business and website, to deliver relevant website content to you and to understand the effectiveness of advertising, to grow the business and decide on marketing strategy.
Marketing Data: Including information about your preferences in receiving marketing and your communication preferences. This is processed on the grounds of legitimate interests, enabling you to partake in any promotions such as competitions, prize draws and free giveaways, to deliver relevant website content, to understand how customers use my services, to develop them, to grow the business and to decide on marketing strategy.
Sensitive Data: I do not collect any sensitive data about you. This refers to data that includes your race or ethnicity, religious or philosophical beliefs, sex life, sexual orientation, political opinions, trade union membership, information about your health and genetic and biometric data or information about criminal convictions and offences.
If I am required to collect personal data by law, or under the terms of the contract between us and you do not provide it, I may have to cancel a product or service you have ordered, however, you will be notified you at the time. In addition, I may have to process your personal data without your knowledge or consent where this is required or permitted by law.
I will only use your personal data for the purpose it was collected or a reasonably compatible purpose if necessary.
If, as determined by me, the lawful basis upon which I process your personal information changes, I will notify you about the change and any new lawful basis to be used if required. I shall stop processing your personal information if the lawful basis used is no longer relevant.

I will only retain your personal data for as long as is necessary to fulfill the purposes it was collected for, including for the purposes of satisfying any legal, accounting, or reporting requirements.
When deciding what the correct time is to keep the data for, I look at the amount, nature and sensitivity, potential risk of harm from unauthorised use or disclosure, the processing purposes, if these can be achieved by other means and legal requirements.
For tax purposes the law requires me to keep basic information about customers (including contact, identity, financial and transaction data) for six years after they stop being customers.

Under data protection laws you have rights in relation to your personal data that include the right to request access, correction, erasure, restriction, transfer, to object to processing, to portability of data and (where the lawful ground of processing is consent) to withdraw consent. Email Marketing and Subscriptions
Under GDPR I use the lawful consent basis for anyone subscribing to my newsletter or marketing mailing list. I only collect certain data about you, as detailed above. Any email marketing messages sent are done so through an email marketing service (EMS) provider, in this case, MailChimp. MailChimp is a third party service provider of software that allows me to send out email marketing campaigns.
Email marketing messages may contain tracking functions or tracked clickable links or similar server technologies. This is in order to track subscriber activity within email marketing messages. Where used, such marketing messages may record a range of data such as; times, dates, I.P addresses, opens, clicks, forwards, geographic and demographic data. Such data, within its limitations will show the activity each subscriber made for that email campaign.
Any email marketing messages sent are in accordance with the GDPR. You can easily unsubscribe, manage your preferences or the information held about you at any time.
