What is Wellbeing Coaching?
Wellbeing coaching is a series of conversations in a supportive and collaborative partnership that helps you deepen your health and happiness, unlock your potential and embrace your unique path.
The Deeper Wellbeing approach views you and your wellbeing as a whole ecosystem, where your mind, body, thoughts, beliefs, and habits intersect and interact, rather than as separate areas to be considered in isolation.
It considers the foundations of health: nutrition, movement, rest and stress management. With four areas to bring happiness: values and purpose, relationships, career/business and joy.
The Deeper Wellbeing coaching approach is rooted in making it personal, and keeping it simple and achievable. There is no one size fits all and that’s what makes the difference to your success.

The signature transformational coaching package. What’s included:
30 minute welcome and vision setting call
Six x 1.5 hour coaching calls over four to six months, flexible frequency according to your needs
Email support between sessions during working hours Monday to Thursday
Recordings of each session
Additional self guided tools and exercises when needed
Option to mix sessions with outdoor walking coaching

Everyone deserves to feel happy and healthy. While this means something different for each of us, I'm here to listen to your goals and work with you to achieve them.
You are your own expert. You experience your life every day, making you the best judge what will work for you and what won’t. Our work together is guided by your insights and intuition.
You hold the key to your own transformation. You know yourself best, and my role is to create a safe space where you can explore your thoughts and feelings without judgment. I will help you unlock your potential, make your choices, and support you as you step into your best self.

There are many different definitions of coaching. I like to think of it as a conversation where the coach walks alongside the coachee, using their skills to facilitate and catalyse new thinking.
Through that new thinking comes new possibility, clarity, confidence, beliefs and behaviours.
When I coach, I take a solutions focus, looking at where you want to be and how you will get there, rather than focussing on what isn’t working or why things may not be as you wish.

These are all different modalities with varying goals, methods and outcomes. Which one you select depends on what you are seeking to achieve. Rather than think about the differences, I think it’s easier to summarise my approach to coaching:
You are the expert in your own world, only you can truly know what you want, how you feel and the experiences and expertise you can bring to bear.
I fully trust that you will work out your own solutions through the coaching process
We take a future focus – what is your vision, what do you want to achieve?
We look at solutions rather than what’s not working – what does this look like if it’s working really well?
You share as much or as little as you like as long as it works for you, as your coach I don’t need to know everything
Coaching is non-therapeutic, we don't have to delve into the past to inform the present if it's not helpful for you.

When we chat we can find out if we can work well together. It’s important we both feel it’s a good fit, the relationship with your coach is a key part of the coaching process. I will also be upfront with you if I think a different coach may be a better fit for you.

Before you commit to the coaching I will send you a coaching agreement with the expectations of you and commitments from me to read and sign.
In short, turn up on time and in a space where you can speak freely, come prepared with your objectives or agenda, be open to the process, take as much time as you need to think through, circle back and make your own decisions. Above all, enjoy the coaching, because it’s going to open up possibilities you may not have known were available for you.
In return for your commitment, I am all in with you. Your biggest supporter and cheerleader. I will always turn up ready for you to make the most of each session.

No. Often at the outset of coaching you have an idea of results in mind and as we move through the coaching your ideas shift, you change and your results may be different.
Another reason I cannot guarantee your results is that you, and only you, are responsible for the work you do, the changes you make and the actions you take, and that is where the results come from (it’s also what builds resilience).
My commitment to you is that I will do my very best as your coach, share my experiences if it’s helpful, signpost you to tools and resources and generally do everything I can to work with you in reaching your vision and goals.

Coaching availability is relatively flexible to suit your needs.
In general I coach on Monday afternoons, Tuesdays and Wednesdays.
I am also available for an evening and weekend here and there.
We can discuss this in advance of contracting to make sure we have a match.
